I think you are falling in love with line. Grass on edges look artificial. Any foreground trees? I wonder where this path leads. Try it without the guy and the horse, maybe? You can create a mood - what mood do you want? - by line and light the way your are proceeding. Again, what mod is that? This looks both foreboding and promising. Very nice possibilities of tension between those.
