Sorry I'm being slow - this one still isn't finished, but you can see I've added more definition to parts of the background (haven't touched the building yet).
As for the next phase of my individual project, I've been asked to help with matte painting for John Pettingill's "Sleddin'" animation. Here is a verrrrry rough first experiment with layout for one of the scenes.
Very interesting. I showed the Sledddin' animation to my VIST 305 animation students as an example of excellent camera angle, etc. Also showed them what they had done so far on redo of images as examples of what work should look like. Enjoy working on an excellent project.
